Salsa dancing is a great socialising activity

Salsa dancing is great fun! Whether you are an absolute beginner with two left feet with a tendancy to step on your own feet or that of your partners, or a seasoned veteren. Nothing beats the fun and excitement of dancing away late into the evening with great music and great people.

The great thing about salsa dancing is that it’s so accessible with salsa classes and salsa bars almost everywhere. That anyone can go to a salsa bar today, and get started! In the many salsa bars I’ve been to in and around London I’ve met people from all walks of life taking up salsa from students to CEOs, from teenagers to the more senior members of the society.

A common misconception is that salsa dancing is intimate and some people shy away from it as a result, in my experience nothing can be further from the truth. Whilst Salsa Dancing can be intimate, it can also be very festive and folk-like. In south america members of extended families get together and dance salsa, mums and sons, fathers and daugthers.
